1. GENERAL
This Internet Privacy Policy applies to your visit to the
combined web site of the Workers’ Compensation Self-Insurance
Trust (WCSIT) and the Illinois School District Agency (ISDA).
WCSIT and ISDA are separate self-insurance pools for Illinois
school districts that provide, respectively, workers’
compensation and property/casualty insurance programs and
related services. Hinz Professional Insurance Program Managers
(HPIPM) serves as the Program Administrator, and Hinz Claims
Management, Inc. (HCM) performs all claims administration
services, for both WCSIT and ISDA.
WCSIT and ISDA respect the privacy of individuals who visit
this web site (the "WCSIT-ISDA Site"). This Privacy
Policy outlines the information that we collect through the
WCSIT-ISDA Site and how we use that information, so that you can
decide whether and how you wish to provide information to us.
Your use of this WCSIT-ISDA Site tells us you have read and
accept the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.
2. WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?
Personally Identifiable Information: Personal data or
school district information is collected only when users
voluntarily provide information to the WCSIT-ISDA Site, for

requests for information. During these activities, you may be

district or certain individuals such as name, e-mail addresses,

times.
Anonymous and Aggregated Information: Anonymous and
aggregated information, such as which web pages users access and
the number of daily visits to the WCSIT-ISDA Site, is
automatically collected through various methods. In the course
of using the WCSIT-ISDA Site, we may also automatically track
certain information about you. This information includes the URL
that you just came from, which URL you next go to, and the
Internet browser you are using. This statistical information is
important to allow us to evaluate and improve the services we
provide, to monitor our site performance and to make it easier
for visitors to use the WCSIT-ISDA Site.
Use of Cookies: Although the WCSIT-ISDA Site does not
currently employ "cookies" to collect information,
WCSIT and ISDA reserve the right to implement such technology
and related technologies in the future without further notice. A
cookie is a small data file that most web sites write to your
computer’s hard drive or memory for record keeping purposes
when you visit them. Cookies allow web sites to measure activity
on the various areas of the site and to improve the user’s
experience, for example by remembering passwords and viewing
preferences.
