The David Binotti Risk Management Award is given annually in recognition of a district which has made great strides in reducing its accidents and other losses. 

The David Binotti Risk Management Award is presented each year at the IASB, IASA and IASBO Joint Conference during the First General Session. School District winners receive a tree that is planted on their property to remind them of the importance of risk management.
